Its been a hectic summer, but now the cooler months are getting nearer its time to settle down and think about what the next year is going to bring......and I think its going to be exciting!

Having shot a few weddings this year, I have decided to expend into that field aswell, no point putting all your eggs into one basket. A new wedding gallery is now in place on my website (take a look http://www.theconspiracyphotographic.com/about.html ), this will be updated with a broader range of work soon, but the commercial side of the business is going crazy at the moment with everyone getting ready for the christmas rush! If you need a wedding photographer in Bath, Bristol or anywhere really then give me a shout, I would love to have a chat about it. Oh and if you are getting married in mauritius, or Bali or the Hawaii (anywhere warm sunny and beachy), then definitely give me a call!!.

May 2009

The studio is now open for business, and as a celebration we are offering some great deals. My car has been plastered up in the newly designed Conspiracy Photographic branding, my new 24-70 lens has arrived and most exciting of all, my new Ring Flash adapter is on its way. This new ring flash is supposed to be amazing, its made in the U.S.(by Ray Flash), yet is still of a very high quality apparently!!!!Using fibre optics, it just connects to your 580 EX flash head, and works just like a very expensive studio ringer, but is lightweight and very portable. It should be amazing for the fashion shoots lined up with some Bristol based models later this month.

Off to Spain for the weekend tomorrow, spending Sunday morning stood by the beach at San Sebastien shooting runners for a couple of hours.......sounds pretty good to me, warmer sunshine and sangria eh?

Ahhhhhh

Its Saturday morning, the sun is shining, cannot think of a better time to check the excellent photography for Wiltshire based Somerset born photographer.....uh......me. This is our new blog to keep everyone up to date on the in's, out's, up's and down's in the world of the Conspiracy Photographic. We also want you to tell us what you have been up to, what you like, what you don't like.......anything really......lets get chatting.

Incase we haven't met before, I will just tell you a little about us. Based in the villages of Wiltshire, not far from the beautiful Georgian City of Bath, the Conspiracy is a photographic company shooting mainly for the commercial world. Specialising in studio based fashion, portraiture and still life, and location work for the advertising, marketing and events fields. We have also been privelidged enough to shoot many weddings for couples from Wiltshire and Somerset, be commissioned to portray music festivals and fly in Hot Air Balloons.

With a strong background in the subject, having started with my first film slr camera when I was about 7, I became aware I wanted to be a pro photographer from an early age. Being lucky enough to grow up near Bath, the home of the illustrious and historic Royal Photographic Society, I took part in many training courses, learning to hand develop and print black and white photographs, use studio lighting and how to develop ideas. This lead to my study of photography at A-Level, and then BA Hons Photographic Art at the University of Wales College in Caerleon, South Wales.

Now, following a few years in the industry as a newspaper hack, working in a portrait studio and some general tom foolery, I am living the dream as a freelance photographer (ok,its really really hard work, very very stressful but its worth the effort every day).
