Ignore the toy and play with the boxes!

Ah the pleasures of life as a photographer of products eh?. Today has seen me building a wooden farm yard, complete with oversize pigs and bales of hay the size of an oversize pigs trotter, fly a wooden plane from the shooting table to the editing pc and back, and enjoy a large portion of this years range of Christmas Cards from W.H.Smith. Twas nearly enough to bring out the bah humbug in me!

Merry Christmas one and all from the Conspiracy Photographic.

Welcome to the Conspiracy Photographics Blog Spot.

Hi, as the title says, welcome. This is our new blog to keep everyone up to date on the in's, out's, up's and down's in the world of the Conspiracy Photographic. We also want you to tell us what you have been up to, what you like, what you don't like.......anything really......lets get chatting.

Incase we haven't met before, I will just tell you a little about us. Based in the villages of Wiltshire, not far from the beautiful Georgian City of Bath, the Conspiracy is a photographic company shooting mainly for the commercial world. Specialising in studio based fashion, portraiture and still life, and location work for the advertising, marketing and events fields. We have also been privelidged enough to shoot many weddings for couples from Wiltshire and Somerset, be commissioned to portray music festivals and fly in Hot Air Balloons.

With a strong background in the subject, having started with my first film slr camera when I was about 7, I became aware I wanted to be a pro photographer from an early age. Being lucky enough to grow up near Bath, the home of the illustrious and historic Royal Photographic Society, I took part in many training courses, learning to hand develop and print black and white photographs, use studio lighting and how to develop ideas. This lead to my study of photography at A-Level, and then BA Hons Photographic Art at the University of Wales College in Caerleon, South Wales.

Now, following a few years in the industry as a newspaper hack, working in a portrait studio and some general tom foolery, I am living the dream as a freelance photographer (ok,its really really hard work, very very stressful but its worth the effort every day).
